However, according to the recent CHED-MARINA monitoring for 2018, out of over 82,000 enrolees in S.Y. 2018, only 14,690 will be able to complete their academic requirements and only 2,256 will eventually be able to go on a ship for on-board training and be able to obtain a degree in the maritime field.
